While many of our clients have had their diagnosis from MAPP Psychology recognised by their GP, policies vary by region and by individual GP practice and so (as with all private diagnoses) we cannot guarantee it.

We will always work with you to support your GP in recognising your diagnosis, and we’re partnered with a private psychiatrist who can also assist where necessary.

  • Where medication is deemed a suitable treatment option for a positive diagnosis:

    • A follow up appointment is arranged with our partner psychiatrist

    • The appointment involves a holistic review of the diagnosis and physical health indicators

    • An appropriate medication approach is determined with a prescription issued

There are additional costs involved with medication.

  • Private ADHD assessments and treatment plans offer several advantages, including:

    • No waiting lists

    • Access to specialist psychologists

    • In-depth evaluation and professional opinions

    • Clear guidance on diagnosis and treatment

    • Tailored services for adults and children
